E-Debit/Union Bank Verification
Verification Policy
To become a verified member of E-Debit and qualify for an
associated Union Bank account, you will need to submit
identification information and have it verified.
You will be required to submit verification documents as stated
below.
- International Passport
- Utility Bill
Verification Procedure
1. Download and print off a Verification Declaration document
which can be accessed by following this link for a PDF version or
this link for a word version. Take it along with a copy of your
passport and a utility bill not more than 3 months old to any
main post office that does verification, or an accredited notary
public or chamber of commerce. You will need to also take along
your original documents so that they can be verified as being
true copies of the original
2. The declaration accompanying this document along with copies
of the original of your International passport/current utility
bill must be signed by a representative of a Notary Public, or
an approved chamber of commerce or main Post office as being a
true copy of the original. You will need to pay the fee direct at
the point of verification as well as postage costs for the
documents to be sent to Union Bank
3. The documents must then be sent to Union Bank as detailed
below. The Notary Public/Commissioner of Oaths needs to be a member of the Law Society in the UK or the American Bar Association in the US.
